Because of the logistical difficulties which come with long-distance travel during the coronavirus pandemic, Championship clubs have been allowed to change the kick-off times of fixtures when matches resume from this weekend.

As a result, Middlesbrough's match at Millwall has been moved from 7.45pm to 3pm on Wednesday July 8.

With all matches behind closed doors for the rest of the 2019-20 campaign, the Football League has made a commitment that the 78 games not broadcast live on Sky should be made accessible to supporters via live streaming. Kicking-off at three in the afternoon during the working week would seem to slightly go against the principle, but it should certainly help manager Jonathan Woodgate's players.

As the most northerly team in the Championship, Boro's matches have changed more than most, with fixtures against Swansea City, Queens Park Rangers and Reading also been moved from their original slot to help the away teams.

As Sky have not yet selected all their games for broadcast, the time could alter again.
