National League fixtures revealed for 2020-21

FC HALIFAX TOWN will start the new National League season at home to Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday, October 3.

National League North sides York City, Guiseley, Farsley Celtic and Bradford (Park Avenue) are in FA Cup second qualifying round action on that date and their league seasons will start in the working week.

Avenue host Gateshead to kick off in the league on Monday, October 5 and the following night, Guiseley start at home to Blyth and York entertain Chorley. Farsley head to Spennymoor.

Beaten in the play-offs last term, Steve Watson's Minstermen visit Farsley for the first time since 2008 on the first Saturday of the season on October 10. Celts visit York on February 13.

Boxing Day derbies in the National League North see York head to Avenue and Guiseley play host to Farsley at Nethermoor - with the reverse fixtures scheduled to start off 2021 on January 2.

Another festive derby sees York entertain Guiseley on December 28, with the reverse fixture taking place at Nethermoor on May 1.

Farsley visit Avenue on February 6 and welcome their near-neighbours on the final game of the season on May 29.

The final day sees York welcome Alfreton, while Guiseley - whose last away game of the season takes them to Bradford on May 22 - are at home to AFC Fylde.

After welcoming the Daggers in their home opener in the division above, Pete Wild's Halifax visit Stockport in their first away game of the campaign on October 6.

The Shaymen host beaten play-off finalists Notts County on October 27 and visit Hartlepool United on Boxing Day.

Pools head to The Shay to start 2021 on January 2.
