The Pikes pushed themselves up to 10th in the table on Saturday when they won 3-2 at in-form Cleethorpes Town, thanks to goals from Lewis Taylor, Ged Dalton and Nathan Kamara.

Ingram said: “Boxing Day games are always massive. You get local derbies, big crowds and three big points up for grabs.

“After the result on Saturday the lads will be right up for the game, but we will have to produce once again.

“Everyone was outstanding in that game. To go there and pick up a win with five or six key players missing was a great result.

“We want to finish what has been a good first half to the season on a high.

“Looking back we didn’t think it would go as well as it has because the manager Paul Marshall and myself had to bring players in, make sure they bought into it and wait for people to gel.

“Saturday’s result just shows exactly how far we have come, but we can’t stop there, we have to match that against Brid and continue to push on.”
