Bradford overcame the dismissal of midfielder Lee Evans to battle to a 1-1 draw at Port Vale.

In-form frontman AJ Leitch-Smith (two) gave the hosts an early lead, before Evans (50) saw red for a late challenge on Anthony Grant.

Jamie Proctor, on loan from Fleetwood, marked his debut with a close-range equaliser (65) to secure a point.
