Relaxed Redknapp praises rivals

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp insists the pressure is all on Manchester City as they prepare for tonight's crucial Barclays Premier League showdown at Eastlands.

Victory for Tottenham would guarantee them a place in the Champions League next season but any other result will take the fight for a top-four spot into the last game of the season.

Fourth-placed Spurs are one point ahead of City and even a draw tonight would give the Londoners the edge going into their final game of the season at relegated Burnley on Sunday.

Abu Dhabi-based owner Sheikh Mansour has given City the spending power to rival any club in Europe and so, for Redknapp at least, the pressure is on the Blues.

"There is no pressure on us," he said. "At the start of the year we all felt that if anyone was going to break into the top four then realistically it was going to be Manchester City. You could see the regular four teams being there with maybe Manchester City the one club that could push into the group with the resources and the money they have spent.

"They have bought some fantastic players and I think they will eventually go on and win the championship in three or four years."

Burnley captain Steven Caldwell admits he is likely to be leaving the club this summer.

The 29-year-old, who led the Clarets to promotion to the top flight last year, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign. Caldwell has played just twice since December due to injury and has had no discussions with manager Brian Laws over a new deal.

"I'm willing to speak to anyone at any time, but obviously I have had no discussions so far so it seems I will probably be leaving," said Caldwell.
