Rochdale 3 Barnsley 0 - Tykes run destroyed at ‘Dale
BARNSLEY’S unbeaten run came to an abrupt end with Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Rochdale in League One.
A lacklustre Tykes side fell behind in just the eighth minute to a Calvin Andrew strike and the home lead was doubled nine minutes before the interval through Peter Vincenti.
Donal McDermott set up both goals, flicking the ball into Andrew’s path and then swinging in the corner which Vincenti nodded home.
A comfortable home win was then secured three minutes after the hour when Jamie Allen fed Ian Henderson who converted past Adam Davies.
