Rochdale v Rotherham United: Le Fondre doubt for his return to leaders

ADAM LE FONDRE is a doubt tonight as Rotherham United look to become the second Yorkshire side inside a week to put a dent in Rochdale's League Two title hopes.

Keith Hill's table-toppers were humbled 3-1 at Spotland by Bradford City a week ago but bounced back to win at Macclesfield Town over the weekend.

Top scorer Le Fondre is hoping to recover from a calf strain to lead the Millers' attack against his former club.

Manager Ronnie Moore said: "He felt a twinge and we will have to see how he is but Tuesday is a bit quick.

"The lad will be desperate to play in this one but it is about being fit. It didn't seem too bad and sometimes these things can be nothing, but we will have to wait and see. Certainly we will not be taking any risks."

Rotherham are going in search of a league double over the League Two leaders after winning 2-1 at Don Valley Stadium in August.

Josh Walker is due to make his second appearance for the Millers following the on-loan Middlesbrough midfielder's debut against Burton.
