Rotherham United end Jake Forster-Caskey loan as Charlton Athletic swoop

Rotherham United midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has returned to parent club Brighton, who have immediately sold him to League One side Charlton.

Forster-Caskey was recently told he had no future at the club by interim-boss Paul Warne, having made just seven appearances this term.

He returned to Albion by mutual consent and has linked up with Addicks boss Karl Robinson, who he previously worked with in a loan spell at MK Dons.

Meanwhile, keeper Lee Camp has been ruled out for the season with injury and is likely to have played his last game for the club with his deal up this summer.

The Millers will make a decision regarding whether Richie Smallwood returns to the club from his loan at Scunthorpe next week.
