Rotherham United v Dagenham & Redbridge: Moore in plea to unsetttled Millers fans

RONNIE Moore has urged Rotherham United supporters to 'keep the faith'.

The Millers slipped to fifth in the League Two table after losing to rock bottom Darlington at the weekend – a result that also sparked a backlash from a section of travelling fans.

Tonight, the Millers have an opportunity to put things right against Dagenham and Redbridge knowing that another defeat will serve to intensify the pressure at the Don Valley Stadium.

Moore said: "We know where the faults are and it's a case of getting the plug right and putting it there.

"The fans have to keep the faith, that's the biggest thing, but we have to give them something in return.

"We have to perform, we have to roll our sleeves up and knuckle down, and we have got to put it right.

"It is the first time we have lost two on the trot since I came back as manager but we let everyone down at Darlington. We are miles better than that but, at the moment, we are off the pace."

Last six games: Millers WLWWLL, Dagenham LLWLLL.
