Barnet 0 Rotherham United 0: Revell sees red for Millers

Alex Revell saw red as Rotherham United were left frustrated by Barnet in League Two.

The Millers were unable to break down a stubborn home defence, and their cause was not helped late in the game when Revell was given his marching orders after a second yellow card.

United’s assistant manager Paul Raynor pinpointed their slow start as the reason why they didn’t come away with all three points.

“It was a good workmanlike performance; I wasn’t too impressed with the first half performance as we stood off Barnet for the first 15 or 20 minutes and let them get a foothold in the game. They’ve been struggling a bit of late and the nerves would have got to them if we’d started better. We didn’t really start on the front foot, and when we have we’ve gone on to dominate teams,” said Raynor.
