His Millers side end a gruelling week with their second trip to East Anglia in the space of a week, but in fine spirits after the excellent midweek win over Blackburn Rovers.

Neil Adams’s leaders are smarting after a shock home reverse to Charlton on Tuesday, with Evans insisting all the pressure will be on their shoulders today.

Evans, without the services of Luciano Becchio, ineligible under the terms of his loan from Norwich, said: “They (Norwich) are a team who I think will be champions and rightly so.

“I don’t think you would find too many managers in the Championship who would disagree with that.

“When you look at the quality they have got for each position and back-up, they have got real strength in depth from the goalkeeper across the back and in every position.

“They are one hell of a side and while they lost in midweek, it really was a robbery.

“We know we will go there and face a reaction. But the pressure will be on them; they are top of the league.”

Meanwhile, one of the Millers heroes from midweek in goalscorer Kari Arnason admits that getting a result at Carrow Road would turn a decent week into a brilliant one.

Arnason, who is likely to line up against ex-Miller Lewis Grabban, said: “We knew going into these three games, it would be tough to get anything out of them. Ipswich, Blackburn and Norwich does not look very good.

“But if we could get four to six points out of that, it would be brilliant, especially going into the international break.

“We will see what happens.”
