KIERAN Agard bagged the only goal of the game as Rotherham United overcame visiting Plymouth Argyle 1-0 in League Two on Saturday.

With Bob Harris having returned to Blackpool after the end of his loan spell, new loanee from Blackburn Josh Morris made his debut at left-back in an otherwise unchanged Millers line-up.

The Millers had to make a late change when Lionel Ainsworth was injured in the warm-up and was replaced by Gareth Evans.

Mark Bradley also had to replace knee injury victim right-back Dale Tonge in the fourth minute but that did not stop Rotherham from forcing a series of fine saves from Jake Cole.

Kari Arnason also headed home but his effort was disallowed for pushing.

Rotherham finally broke through in the 73rd minute when substitue Agard swept home a low cross from Daniel Nardiello.
