Leon Wobschall delivers his verdict as Rotherham United beat Bury at the NYS.
Marek Rodak. Not too much to be fielded on his Millers debut. Did make an important second-half save to deny Bury substitute Mihai Dobre. 6
Shaun Cummings. Left the fray in the 40th minutes due to injury. Steady enough until then. 6
Richard Wood. Marshalled his back four well enough in the main and was typically committed, but he and his defensive team-mates won’t be happy with the two goals they conceded. 6
Michael Ihiekwe. Couldn’t clear Ryan Lowe’s cross for Jermaine Beckford’s first leveller. 6
Ben Purrington. Stuck to his guns well enough, didn’t have too much scope to get forward. 6
Darren Potter. Operated just in front of back four. Solid if unspectacular. 6
Ryan Williams. Lively in parts and denied a goal by a flying first-half save from Murphy. 7
Will Vaulks. Excellent throughball led to Moore’s opener and his pass helped creat the hosts second. Very presentable afternoon - and showed his versatility after being switched to right-back. 8
Lee Frecklington. Spurned a couple of good situations when he lacked poise. Grafted as always. 6
Jon Taylor. Glaring first-half miss, but set up the hosts second to redeem matters. Busy and a threat. 7
Kieffer Moore. A lovely opener when he showed nifty footwork and skill and centre forward’s header to make it 2-2. Millers have a new hero. 8
Substitutes: Richie Towell (Cummings 40). Some introduction to Millers supporters. Sweet winner. 7
Anthony Forde (R Williams 75). A cameo in the last 15 minutes. 6.
David Ball (Frecklington 85). Came on five minutes from time for Frecklington.
