Hide AdRichard Wood. Irrepressible. Captain fantastic with two goals on his Wembley bow. A typically commanding and authoritative performance from the Millers’ on-pitch leader, who will never ever forget the events of today. 9
Semi Ajayi. Solid and sensible up until a poor decision which resulted in a free-kick that culminated in Shrewsbury’s leveller. 6
Joe Mattock. Copped a whack in the first half from Whalley, who he handled tidily. Posed more questions on the restart and stretched at times. 6
Jon Taylor. Plenty of graft and perspiration, but did not impose himself on game in final third. 6

Hide AdMichael Smith. Worked like a trojan and linked play well. But left to curse his fortune after being sent clear late on in normal time and fluffing his lines. 6
Substitutes: Caolan Lavery (Ball 71). Missed a huge chance soon after coming on and then fired tamely at Henderson. 5
Ryan Williams (Taylor 75). Pepped up the Millers with his pace and only a brilliant save from Henderson prevented him from being the hero in injury-time. Very lively in extra time. 8
Anthony Forde (Newell 110). Entered the fray in the final ten minutes of extra time. 6
