Scott aiming to get back to winning ways

AFTER nine games without a win, Rotherham’s promotion push has hit the skids in recent weeks.

Manager Andy Scott, however, will be hoping that a three-goal fightback against Morecambe proves to be a turning point.

The Millers visit Northampton Town, who have also struggled of late, losing their last four games.

“If we do what we did in the second half on Tuesday, doing the things asked of them, then I’m confident we will soon be winning football matches,” he said.

Scott has a decision to make in attack after substitute Chris Holroyd impressed against Morecambe.

The Millers manager has also confirmed that he wants to extend the loan signing of former Sheffield United defender Jon Harley from Notts County.

Harley, 32, has played in the last three games and Scott says: “He’s terrific to have around the place. He always has a smile on his face which is refreshing for a lad of his age.”

The Millers are 13th in the League Two table, five points adrift of the top seven.
