Round-Up: Guiseley recover

Steve Kittrick's below-par team found themselves two goals down in just over half-an-hour, Ben Mackey and Adam Webster doing the damage.

Guiseley improved after introducing Darryn Stamp and Danny Boshell. Joe O'Neill's 25-yard shot gave them hope in the 75th minute and defender Danny Ellis scrambled an equaliser following a corner with three minutes to spare.

Evo-Stick: FC Halifax Town took their league goals tally for the season past the 50 mark with a 3-0 victory at Northwich Victoria.

James Dean, Lee Gregory and Tom Baker scored the goals that kept Neil Aspin's side looking down on the chasers and nine points clear. Halifax goalkeeper Jonathan Hedge saved a penalty from Wayne Riley.

Bradford Park Avenue must have thought they were on course for an away point but FC United of Manchester conjured two goals in the last seven minutes to foil them. Goalkeeper Sam Ashton was outstanding for the hosts.

Frickley's single-goal home defeat against Matlock kept them in the danger zone.

Stocksbridge Park Steels were three down at home to Marine before Brett Lovell headed their consolation goal. It was Steels' first defeat in four games.

Harrogate Railway picked up their seventh win in Division One North, defeating Bamber Bridge 3-2. Kevin Ryan opened the scoring after Bridge had Warren Beattie sent off in the 32nd minute for a foul. Aaron Taylor equalised but Michael Duckworth restored Railway's lead. Peter Wright equalised but Martin Crowther was sent off before Steve Palfrey hit the late winner.

Northern Counties East: Struggling Hallam staged a remarkable late fightback to salvage a 4-4 draw at Scarborough Athletic.

Richard Medcalf scored twice in the first half and completed his hat-trick for Scarborough in the 68th minute, Gary Hepples also netting for the home side, who led 4-0. Phil Reynolds started the recovery with 20 minutes left, Jordan Turner scored five minutes later and Lee Cooksey added Hallam's third in the 76th minute. Then, deep into stoppage time, Turner completed the comeback with his second.

Farsley were 4-1 winners at Dinnington and hold a two-point lead over second-placed Parkgate who have played three games fewer.
