Round-Up: Needham makes Celtic pay price

FA Trophy: Liam Needham's late header sent Guiseley into the last 16 after a physical battle against Stalybridge Celtic, who were reduced to 10 men from the 40th minute.

Connor Jennings met a free-kick to head Stalybridge into the lead on the half-hour but when Joe O'Neill rounded visitors' goalkeeper Jan Budts and was brought down by last man Glen Rule, James Walshaw equalised from the penalty spot. Rule was sent off.

O'Neill headed against the visitors' bar in the second half and before Needham's 88th minute winner, Craig Hobson had a chipped shot cleared off the line by Guiseley defender Danny Ellis and then fired over an open goal.

Evo-Stik: Kevin Sanasy grabbed a hat-trick and Frickley Athletic profited from two own-goals as they hit close rivals Ashton United for six.

Ben Smith's sliced own-goal gifted Frickley a 12th-minute lead and although Ryan Crowther levelled matters six minutes later, Sanasy struck twice before the interval to make it 3-1. Crowther hit back soon after half-time but Ian Bennett put through his own goal just after the hour.

Ashley Burbeary struck Frickley's fifth goal, Aaron Burns netted the home side's third and Sanasy completed his hat-trick just before the end. Ashton captain Craig Robinson was dismissed for a second yellow card in the 80th minute. Frickley are just one point behind 17th-placed Ashton.

There was no joy for Yorkshire sides in Division One North, though Harrogate Railway resisted strongly before losing 3-2 at home to Fylde. Railway's Steve Palfrey soon headed home but Tom Cahill equalised from the penalty spot and Andy Bell struck twice before Mike Duckworth scored Railway's second goal with eight minutes left.

Northern Counties East: Roy Stamer's 75th-minute strike was enough to give Farsley victory over Scarborough and keep them two points clear at the top of the table.

Second-placed Parkgate, who have two games in hand, looked to be cruising at Hallam when Janni Lipka and Matt Griffin put them 2-0 up but the home side drew level through Jordan Turner's penalty and Phil Reynolds's strike before Nathan Swindells's 17th goal of the season clinched the points for the visitors.

The three chasing clubs all dropped points.

Bridlington Town needed a second-half goal from Tom Fleming to cancel out Nicky Boshell's 26th-minute penalty for Brighouse Town.
