On the first half performance: “It was shambolic. Our defending was atrocious and very disappointing and obviously the manager is in (the dressing room) now dissecting it, talking to the players. We only had 15 minutes at half-time to try and put a shape together, to show a bit of pride and show a bit of commitment and a bit of heart. I felt we did that in the second half but the first half performance was absolutely shambolic and we can’t stand in front of that. It was simply not good enough.”

On Evans not speaking to the media: “We know you’ve got time constraints, we know you’re going to ask the questions and we know you want some answers. We’re trying to give the answers to the players in there on what we think about that first-half performance which was simply shambolic – not good enough and certainly not good enough for Leeds United.”

On Massimo Cellino leaving at half-time: “We can’t worry about that. If I was him I think I would have gone as well to be fair. He doesn’t want to see his football club play like that and I certainly don’t blame him for that.”
