Sheffield United trial Premier League trio

SHEFFIELD UNITED manager Kevin Blackwell is weighing up moves for a trio of players who are available from Premier League clubs.

Arsenal defender Kerra Gilbert, Manchester City defender Shaleum Logan, and Birmingham City midfielder Gregory Vignal have all joined the Blades on trial.

Blackwell is also running the rule over four players who have caught the eye with the Blades sister clubs – Central Coast Mariners and Ferencvaros.

Defender Trent Sainsbury and Marc Warren, both 18, have been capped at Under-20 level by Australia. Winger Andras Gardos and midfielder Vass Mate, both 19, play in Hungary.
