United trailed to League Two Rovers when David Clarkson ran at Danny Wilson’s defence and drilled a shot past teenage goalkeeper George Long.
But tUnited equalised in the second half with Nick Blackman running on to a through ball from Chris Porter and finishing from a narrow angle to continue his superb scoring streak.
Porter then grabbed the winner after Neill Collins headed a cross into his path.
