Chris Basham. Plenty of emphasis on him in the absence of Egan and O’Connell. Martial was too sharp at times. 6/10.

Phil Jagielka. Tough evening for the veteran. 5/10.

Jack Robinson. Managed to put Rashford off and prevent him from scoring - somehow in first half. But found it a struggle along with others. 5/10.

George Baldock. Plenty of energy and tried to get forward, but was on the back foot for spells. 6/10.

John Lundstram. Prefered to Sander Berge and it was not a straightforward occasion. 5/10.

Ollie Norwood. A couple of trademark early long-range passes augured well, but it proved the peak. Brought off at half-time. 5/10.

John Fleck. Not at his vibrant best and still feeling his way back into the season following its resumption. 5/10.

Enda Stevens. Caught out a little for the second goal and has had a difficult past few games. 5/10.

David McGoldrick. Pretty anonymous evening and the game passed him by. 5/10.
