The Owls had chances but Chris O’Grady was thwarted by Steve Simonsen, then the unmarked James O’Connor and Danny Batth headed wide.

But Wednesday stunned United with two goals in four minutes, from strike duo O’Grady and Gary Madine, to level matters.
