Wednesday reportedly had an £11.5m bid rejected for the former Leeds United striker earlier in the current transfer window.

But according to reports they will now have to increase that bid to £15m – a fee that is three times the club-record price they paid for Paulo Di Canio when they were last in the Premier League in the late 1990s - if they are to secure a deal for the Scottish international.

The 29-year-old old scored 23 goals at Craven Cottage last season.

He joined Fulham from Leeds United in 2014 for £11m.
