Kenneth Zohore would be a 'great addition' for Sheffield Wednesday says Kadeem Harris

Now at West Brom, Zohore played with Harris during his time at former club Cardiff City and has been targetted by Wednesday, although other clubs remain interested in the Danish forward.

Middlesbrough have also been linked with the 26-year-old.

Speaking about Zohore, Harris said: "He would be definitely be a great addition.

"I think all the strikers we have got are very different and he would be a different striker to add to the squad.

"He is also quite quick as well and when he gets going and full of confidence, he is unplayable at times.

"He would definitely be a great addition as a team.

"He is quite quiet, but you know that when he's on the pitch, he's on the pitch. That is the most important thing."

After a positive start to the season, Harris and his Wednesday team-mates are now preparing for the arrival of Watford in the club's home opener at Hillsborough.

Confidence is on the rise following last weekend's fine victory at Cardiff in the club's Championship opener and progression to the third round of the Carabao Cup, but manager Garry Monk has warned that the Owls face a serious examination against the Hornets - a side he expects to be firmly in the promotion shake-up in 2020-21.

Monk said: "Obviously the squad is one of - if not the stronger - in the league. Having watched them throughout pre-season, there is always a lot of talk about relegated teams and confidence, but they look a very confident team and will be one of the strong contenders this year.

"Looking at this first period of games leading up to the first international break, it is a tough run. We have started it well and are playing against teams who are fancied to be up there.

"They are tough. We started well against a team well fancied in Cardiff and now face another one this week."
