Carlisle United 0 Sheffield Wednesday 1: Miller on target for Owls

Gary Megson sees his Sheffield Wednesday side end a five-game away run when they travel to Carlisle United in League One today.

The Owls were unchanged for the first time under new manager Gary Megson. Winger Jermaine Johnson and defenders Lewis Buxton and Jon Otsemobor are still unavailable and midfielder Giles Coke completes a three game ban.

That meant Gary Madine was employed as a lone striker against his former club, who he left for £800,000 in the January transfer window.

Wednesday took the lead on 20 minutes, Tommy Miller firing home for the visitors.
