Jones adds Portuguese ace to Sheffield Wednesday squad
Dave Jones has continued building his Sheffield Wednesday squad for the challenge of the Championship with the signing of Portuguese midfielder Diogo Amodo.
Amodo, 22, joins on a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
Amodo cites Sporting Lisbon among his former clubs and he joins the Owls following a spell with Uniao Leiria.
He said: “I know Sheffield Wednesday from Portugal and it is a big, big club.
“I played with Jose Semedo at Sporting Lisbon and he is a great guy and he will help me settle into Sheffield.”
