Owls swoop to sign Matias
Sheffield Wednesday have looked to bolster their goal-scoring options with the signing of Portuguese midfielder Marco Matias.
The 26-year-old - who netted 20 goals in 36 appearances for Primeira Liga side Nacional last season - has agreed a four-year contract after signing for an ‘undisclosed fee’.
The former Under-21 international came through the ranks at Sporting Lisbon and is the Owls’ fourth summer signing.
Owls owner Dejphon Chansiri and head coach Carlos Carvalhal will give a press conference at Hillsborough on Thursday at 2pm.
