Sheffield Wednesday busy in loan market

Sheffield Wednesday have brought in Miguel Llera from Blackpool on an emergency loan deal, the second such deal conducted by manager Gary Megson in 24 hours.

The Owls have also brought in Newcastle’s 20-year-old defender James Tavernier.

Llera, the fomer Hercules and MK Dons centre half, has moved to Hillsborough on a deal until January 2012.

He has previosuly spent time away from Bloomfield Park at Brentford this season.

Tavernier is also at Hillsborough until January having spent three months on loan at Carlisle earlier this season.

Tavernier, who is an attack-minded right-back, said: “When Sheffield Wednesday showed an interest I wanted to come here straight away.”
