Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal could call on Michael Turner and Sam Hutchinson for the visit of Wolves on Sunday.
However, neither player is entirely fit and Carvalhal admitted he might have to wait until closer to the game to know whether they can be selected.
Turner exited the game against MK Dons late on with an injury, although the Portuguese coach would not be drawn on whether it was a reoccurrence of his knee injury.
He also confirmed that Hutchinson training ahead of Sunday’s game.
Carvalhal said: “Sam is training. Michael we will have to wait until the last minute, but they are not out of our plans. At the last minute we will check them and decide.
“We don’t know in this moment if all the players will recover or not. We are not sure. We will wait until the last minute with some players. We don’t have a problem with that. We have solutions for our play.
“We will have 11 players ready to play, fit and ready to fight for the three points. Even if Michael or Sam can play or cannot play, we have solutions.”
