Still no offers for Premier League target Hammill, say Barnsley

BARNSLEY have yet to receive an official bid in writing for winger Adam Hammill.

The 22-year-old winger, who has a 500,000 buy-out clause in his current Tykes' contract, has confirmed two Premier League clubs - understood to be Blackpool and Wolves - and two Championship clubs had made enquiries, with two of them tabling offers.

But a Barnsley spokesman said: "There's been no bid that has matched the valuation in his contract and until somebody makes one Adam will remain a Barnsley player."

Hammill signed a three-year contract with the Tykes when he joined from Liverpool in August last year following an initial loan spell at Oakwell.
