Stuart Dallas and Luke McCullough get set to face Wales and Slovenia

LEEDS UNITED winger Stuart Dallas and Doncaster Rovers defender Luke McCullough have been named in the Northern Ireland squad for the forthcoming friendlies with Wales and Slovenia.

Manager Michael O’Neill has named a 24-man squad for the games against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on March 24 and the home game with Slovenia in Belfast four days later.

The uncapped duo of Peterborough defender Michael Smith and QPR’s Conor Washington have also been named in the squad.

Meanwhile, Leeds midfielder Lewis Cook is in England 18-man Under-19 squad for their forthcoming Elite Round UEFA U19s European Championship triple header in Spain.

The Young Lions fly out on Monday and kick-off against Georgia on March 24 (4pm) at the Estadio Luis Rodriguez in Salvador, Andalucia.

Two days later, they face Greece at the Estadio Municipal in Ciudad de Lepe (4pm) before their final game at the same ground against Spain on March 29, also 4pm.

Only the group winners will progress to the European Championship finals in Germany.

Middlesbrough’s Dael Fry and Barnsley loanee Callum Connolly are also in the squad.

Barnsley loanee Ashley Fletcher and Bradford City loan defender Reece Burke are among the England U20 party for the game against Canada at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on March 27.
