None of the automatic promotions places have been secured while Crewe Alexandra are the only side whose relegation has been made official and they are guaranteed to finish bottom.

It would take a remarkable and unprecedented goal swing to stop Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon going down while Wigan Athletic would need to suffer a remarkable collapse to lose out on an automatic promotion spot.

They are three points clear of third-placed MK Dons but have a superior goal difference, meaning they would need to lose and MK would need to win with a sizeable goal swing also occurring.

Rotherham United sit second knowing a win will be enough to send them back into the Championship while Sheffield Wednesday know a win will be enough to secure a top-six spot.

Sunderland, Plymouth Argyle and Wycombe Wanderers are the other three clubs fighting it out to finish in the final three play-off spots.

Wycombe currently occupy seventh spot as they have a goal difference of +23 while the three sides above them all have a goal difference of +25.
