Swindon Town 1-0 Huddersfield Town: Defeat must not dent promotion bid – Clark

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark is looking for an instant response from his side against Rochdale tomorrow night – after losing 1-0 at Swindon.

Robins defender Sean Morrison headed a last-gasp winner to sink the Terriers to only their second defeat in the league this season.

And now Clark is hoping his side can continue the form that saw his side top of the table before the loss at the County Ground.

Clark said: "Of course we are disappointed with the loss. Losing a match is the worst feeling in football and that will never change.

"When that does it will be time for me to pack up. However, we have a great chance on Tuesday in a bit of a local derby.

"Rochdale are doing well and we have to dust ourselves down and get a result there. There is going to be lots of twists and turns. We cannot be massively over the top when we are winning. It is a tough one because we love to give our supporters highs and being top of the table our biggest high."

Clark was also disappointed in losing his two in-form players, Gary Roberts and Scott Arfield, for the game at Rochdale.

He said: "Scott told me he could not carry on because of a kick he took just before Gary Roberts broke his arm.

"Scott has a mix of a dead leg and the calf problem and will require a bit of treatment on it.

"He has a tight calf and will struggle to make Tuesday. Gary Roberts will defiantly miss the game."
