Huddersfield Town v Barnsley

Team news: Joe Lolley is a doubt with a shin injury sustained in the midweek draw at Aston Villa but, otherwise, only Joe Murphy is unavailable and the Huddersfield reserve goalkeeper could be back within four weeks after a shoulder operation. Philip Billing and Harry Bunn are in the squad after a full week’s training following injury. Barnsley have no fresh injury worries. Sam Winnall (hamstring) is still sidelined.

Rotherham United v Brentford

Team news: New signings Tom Adeyemi and Izzy Brown could make their debuts. Kirk Broadfoot (back) is rated 50-50, but Lee Frecklington, Greg Halford and Joe Newell are still out.

Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United

Team news: Tom Lees returns to the heart of Sheffield Wednesday’s defence after missing the midweek defeat at Burton Albion, but midfielder Jose Semedo (hamstring) is out. Liam Bridcutt likely to make his Leeds United ‘debut’.

Bradford City v Coventry

Team news: Filipe Morais could return after a two-game absence, while target man James Hanson could also be fit despite suffering a calf strain in midweek. Stephen Darby, Rory McArdle and Nathan Clarke are all still out along with Matthew Kilgallon.

Millwall v Sheffield United

Team news: Sheffield United look set to be without Scottish midfielder John Fleck after he picked up a groin injury in Tuesday’s defeat to Southend. But goalkeeper Simon Moore – signed from Cardiff City yesterday – looks set to make his debut.

League Two

Cheltenham v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Paul Keegan could return, but Tyler Garrett has joined Niall Mason, Mathieu Baudry, Gary McSheffrey and Craig Alcock on the sidelines. Luke McCullough and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair are long-term absentees.
