Made four excellent first-half saves against Liverpool and it really was the Aaron Ramsdale show at Bramall Lane.

Very lucky to be beaten for the visitors’ deflected second goal and had no chance with the opener.

Paudie O’Connor (Bradford City)

Produced another captain’s display at the back to continue City’s dream run against Walsall and his partnership with Niall Canavan is really flourishing.

Michal Helik (Barnsley)

Ruthless at both ends. Got his blocks in at the back to thwart Milwall and did not miss a thing - and followed up to blast home the Reds’ match-winner for his fifth goal since joining the club. Looks tailor-made for English football/

Enjoying a fine season and was again very sound on Saturday. Also made his presence felt from set-plays to telling effect and helped set up both of Barnsley’s goals.

Put in an authoritative and composed performance as Harrogate Town continued their home improvement against Grimsby and underlined his importance to the side.

Levi Sutton (Bradford City)

Influential as City made it four wins in a row for the first time in five years.

Scored another cracker to get them on their way at Walsall and then assisted in the second.

John Bostock (Doncaster Rovers)

Carried on from where he left off in the second half against Hull with another quality performance in the middle of the park at Portman Road.

A pity it was in a losing cause.

Greg Docherty (Hull City)

Continued his strong recent form for the Tigers with another vibrant showing and on another day, could easily have grabbed a few goals.

Marcus Tavernier (Middlesbrough)

Showed what he brings to the table for Boro and what they have missed in his absence.

Threatened with his energy and trickery and helped set up the hosts’ leveller against Cardiff.

Forwards

Josh Magennis (Hull City)

Blasted home a penalty to put the Tigers on course for a cruise at AFC Wimbledon and set up a second goal. Strong performance.

Josh Windass (Sheffield Wednesday)
