Terriers offer £100 Premier tickets if they get promoted

DEAN HOYLE has made a Premier League pledge to Huddersfield Town's existing season ticket holders.

The Terriers chairman has vowed that any fans who renew for next term and beyond will be entitled to purchase a season ticket for just 100 should the club get into the Premier League during his tenure in charge.

Huddersfield, who are battling to reclaim their place in the top six of League One, boast 10,000 season ticket holders and Hoyle is hoping as many as possible sign up again for 2010-11.

He said: "If we are able, one day, to be promoted to the Premier League and I am still chairman, then every fan who has been a season ticket holder in either the 2008-09or 2009-10seasons and then continued each year from 2010-11, will be able to share in that success.

"They will be rewarded for that loyal and unstinting support," he said.

"Each of them will be able to purchase a season ticket for the first season in the Premier League for just 100.

"Of course, nothing is guaranteed and we might not make it. But the fans know we have the ambition, determination and resources.

"These, when combined with the people and players we have already assembled, give us a realistic chance of one day achieving that goal. We can look to many other clubs and see it is possible."

Adult 'loyalty' prices for existing season ticket holders in 2010-11 have been set at 305 for the Kilner Bank, 360 for the main stand lower and 440 for the upper tier. Concessions for senior, student and junior tickets are also available.

Under the 'loyalty' rate, adult fans sitting in the upper and lower tier of the family stand can expect to pay 240 and 140 respectively with concessionary rates also available.

These prices will be available between Monday, March 22 and Friday, April 2 with as yet unnanounced increased rates then coming into force on April 12.

Hoyle added: "In 2009, when I became chairman of this great club, I set out my motives and ambitions.

"This heralded the real start of a 'New Era'.

"I called on people to join with me and our club on what promised to be an exciting journey. I challenged our fans – 'you buy the tickets, we will buy the players'. Players of the likes of Jordan Rhodes joined us. I then said 'you provide the support; we will give you something to shout about'.

"Again, this season our gates, the support from the fans and the entertainment provided by the team has been truly brilliant –probably, unrivalled for 20 years.

"Just a year on, I now want to demonstrate my deep personal thanks by making my own personal pledge to the fans that have already joined with me and our club on the journey and backed us."
