4.40pm: Sheffield United bolster their back-line with the signings of Sunderland's Nyron Nosworthy and Fulham defender Toni Kallio on loan until the end of the season.

4.20pm: Hull City midfielder Peter Halmosi returns to his native Hungary with a loan move to Szombathelyi Haladas till the end of the season.

3.50pm: Doncaster Rovers have turned down a bid from Preston for captain Martin Woods.

3.45pm: Huddersfield Town winger Lionel Ainsworth has extended his loan with League One rivals Brentford till the end of the season.

2.30pm: Hull City striker Daniel Cousin has joined Greek Superleague side Larissa on loan until the end of the season.

1.30pm: Leeds United have extended the loan deal of goalkeeper David Martin for a further week, until February 10, from Liverpool.

1pm: Sheffield Wednesday have allowed Akpo Sodje to join Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

12.30pm: Hull City confirm that a 5m bid from Wolves for Stephen Hunt has been rejected.

11.30am: Sheffield Wednesday have made an approach Onismor Bhasera, a midfielder from Kaiser Chiefs. Portsmouth have already had a work permit turned down for the player.

11am: Leeds United have cancelled David Prutton's contract. The midfielder had been on loan at Colchester United.

10am: Former Sheffield United defender Kyle Naughton is set to move to Middlesbrough on a six-month loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur.

3pm: Wigan Athletic have signed Crystal Palace prospect Victor Moses for 2.5m.

2pm: Leeds United have bolstered their midfield and attacking options by signing Gray McSheffrey on a loan to the end of the season from Birmingham City.

1.30pm: Burnley have signed Celtic left-back Danny Fox.

Thursday, January 28

4pm: Sheffield United midfielder James Harper has made his loan move from Reading permanent. The 29-year-old joined the Blades on transfer deadline day last September on a season-long loan but has now penned a full-time deal at Bramall Lane.

3pm: Preston boss Darren Ferguson has revealed a move that would have taken Chris Sedgwick and Stephen Elliott to Barnsley has fallen through. Midfielder Sedgwick and striker Elliott held talks with the Tykes about a switch to Oakwell, but an agreement could not be reached. Ferguson said: "Barnsley enquired and we thought we had an agreement, but it has not worked out."

2.30pm: Huddersfield Town have taken Liverpool's Nathan Eccleston on loan.

11.30am: Burnley manager Brian Laws has confirmed he is in talks with Celtic's Danny Fox over a move for the Scottish international left-back to Turf Moor.

Wednesday, January 27

5pm: Burnley have signed defender Leon Cort from Premier League rivals Stoke City.

2.15pm: Burnley have signed goalkeeper Nicky Weaver until the end of the season, the club have confirmed. It is a move that seemingly ends their current interest in Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant.

1.30pm: Manchester United have agreed to let winger Zoran Tosic join Bundesliga outfit FC Cologne on loan until the summer.

1.15pm: Tottenham centre-back Michael Dawson has been rewarded with a new contract until 2015 following his form this season.

1pm: Blackburn have signed Turkey international Yildiray Basturk on loan from German club Stuttgart until the end of the season.

Tuesday, January 26

5.30pm: Blackburn Rovers have accepted an offer of 2.25m from Premier League rivals West Ham United for Benni McCarthy.

5pm: Newcastle United have completed the signing of Wayne Routledge on a three-and-a-half deal from Coca-Cola Championship rivals QPR.

3.45pm: Premier League Birmingham have completed the 3m signing of midfielder Craig Gardner from local rivals Aston Villa.

3.30pm: Manchester United have swooped to sign defender Chris Smalling from Fulham. The deal will see Smalling join the Old Trafford outfit in the summer and completes an astounding rise to prominence for a player who was in the non-league ranks with Maidstone two years ago.

1pm: Sheffield Wednesday have extended the loan stay of Stoke City midfielder Tom Soares until the end of the season.

12pm: A busy transfer window continues for Leeds United as they allow David Prutton to join League On promotion rivals Colchester United on a month's loan.

9am: Kevin Blackwell, the Sheffield United manager, confirms his interest in Reading defender Matthew Mills, Portsmouth's Aaron Mokoena and West Brom's Leon Barnett.

Monday, January 25

6pm: Doncaster Rovers have signed Birmingham City midfielder Jordan Mutch on a month's loan.

5.30pm: Swansea are set to sign Finland international and former Sheffield Wednesday Shefki Kuqi on an 18-month contract.

4pm: Mark Robins, the Barnsley manager, confirms he has made an enquiry for out-of-favour Sunderland striker David Healy. "He's available but unattainable," said Robins.
