Transfer Gossip: Barnsley's Conor Hourihane targetted by Aston Villa | Mooy only has eyes for Huddersfield Town

Hourihane is out of contract in the summer and has yet to agree a new deal, with the Irishman mulling over his options and prepared to take his time.
A number of clubs are monitoring developments, including Villa, Norwich, Celtic and Rangers.

Hourihane is another player on their radar following his impressive performances for the Reds, with his contractual situation also alerting Bruce.
On his own situation, Hourihane said: “I am a Barnsley player as it is. I have got a contract until the end of the season and I will see where it takes us.”
Meanwhile, star Huddersfield Town loanee Aaron Mooy insists his only focus is on matters at the John Smith’s Stadium, with making a first-team breakthrough at parent club Manchester Ciy not currently in his mind.

Hide AdThe Aussie, outstanding during his time at Town and instrumental during his rise to the play-offs positions in the Championship, said: “I don’t really look too far ahead. I just focus on where I am now, so that’s with Huddersfield.
“I don’t really focus on the next level.
“The Championship’s a tough division, a strong league. Playing in this league, I’m improving and still think I can get to a higher level, definitely, and play more consistent.
“That’s what I’m here for and hopefully that happens.”
Middlesbrough are in talks to sign three young players from Argentine giants Boca Juniors.
Boro’s strong South American scout network has highlighted Pedro Silva Torrejon, Julian Chicco and Matias Roskopf as additions to their development squad ranks.
