Hull City face competition from two Premier League teams for the services of West brom winger Callum McManaman.

McManaman who starred for Wigan in the FA Cup final of 2013, is out of favour with the Baggies.

But Hull appear to have fallen behind top-flight teams Bournemouth and Swansea in the race for his capture.

Sheffield Wednesday have been rocked by the departure of Glenn Roeder from their three-man football committee.

Roeder, the former Newcastle manager, joined last December under new owner Dejphon Chansiri and had been a big part of the Owls’ recruitment.

Chansiri has said he will bide his time before naming a successor.

York City have released long-serving stalwarts Richard Cresswell and Jonathan Greening.

Cresswell had been first-team coach and caretaker manager this season, while Greening had returned as a player.
