On the incoming front, Hull are one of several clubs linked with a move for Forest full-back Eric Lichaj

Bristol City, Bolton Wanderers and QPR are also said to be in the hunt for the one-time Leeds United loanee, who is about to enter the final year of his Forest contract.

Aston Villa are reportedly set to sign Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sean Clare, after the Owls wide man turned down a new deal at Hillsborough.

The highly-rated 21-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at League One club Gillingham, where he impressed at Priestfield.

Clare made his debut for Wednesday as a late substitute in their goalless draw at rivals Sheffield United in January, and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-2 loss over Villa in February.

Despite Owls head coach Jos Luhukay handing Clare his first taste of first-team football at Hillsborough, Villa are set to entice the youngster to Villa Park.

Preston North End and Norwich City are also closely monitoring the situation with Clare.

Leeds United have been linked with a move to sign Union Berlin left-back Kristian Pedersen, according to reports in Germany.
