Tomlin, 27, has made just 10 appearances for the Cherries following a £3m summer switch from Middlesbrough - with his last league outing coming as a substitute in early November.

England under-19 international Cook, was first reported to have been a £10m target for Bournemouth earlier this month, but recently said he was keen to stay at Elland Road - with owner Massimo Cellino also stating that he was not leaving the club.

Byram’s move to the Hammers is expected to be completed today after David Sullivan confirmed that a deal was in place with Leeds.

The Londoners’ bid is said to be lower than Everton’s £3.7m offer for Byram, with Leeds reluctantly forced to accept after Byram made it clear that he wanted to move to the capital.

Middlesbrough targent Gaston Ramirez’s move to Bologna from Southampton looks to have stalled, with Boro and fellow admirers Swansea now on alert.

Ramirez’s agent has been in talks with the Serie A side in recent days, but a stumbling block over personal terms could scupper the move.

Boro’s prime January target remains Fulham striker Ross McCormack, with the Teessiders remaining hopeful of landing Victor Lindelof even though the Swedish defender appeared for Benfica in Tuesday’s Portuguese League Cup game with Oriental.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth and Southampton are said to be keeping tabs on Sheffield United winger Che Adams.
