Video: Mel Sterland on Leeds United

FORMER Leeds United and England right-back Mel Sterland has been giving his thoughts on the prospects of his old club on their return to the Championship.

Sterland played for Leeds between 1989 and 1994.

He began his career with his hometown club, Sheffield Wednesday, for whom he made 279 appearances, and also played for Glasgow Rangers.

His managerial career saw him take charge of Boston United between 1994 and 1996.

Sterland earned one England cap in 1988.
