Matters still look grim for second-bottom Wyke, who are nine points away from escaping the bottom two with four games left but Wanderers at least kept alive their survival bid with a 1-0 win at Otley Town. In the pick of Division One action, leaders Stanley United squandered an early chance to win the league as they lost 2-1 at home to fifth-placed Ilkley Town.
Third-placed Headingley - the only team who can overhaul Stanley - won 3-1 at Boroughbridge - while second-placed Sherburn White Rose signed off with a 3-1 triumph at Thornhill.
