The 20-year-old, who spent a spell on loan at Oxford United last term, could make his debut in Saturday’s Roses trip to Rochdale, managed by former Reds manager Keith Hill.
Wilson said: “He is another option for us on either side of the flanks and up top as well. He is a very creative player.”
Current Oakwell chief Danny Wilson remains in the market for a centre back and centre forward to help rejuvenate his side, with Ramage, 30, who has spent a loan spell at the club last season, is set to return for a second stint according to reports in London.
