Bristol Rovers 2 York City 1: Wait goes on for heart-broken Minstermen

Have your say

YORK CITY’s wait for a much-needed League Two victory continues after Saturday’s heartbreaking 2-1 loss at Bristol Rovers.

The Minstermen looked on course for a first league win in 15 games when Vadaine Oliver’s ninth goal of the season gave them a 1-0 lead at the break.

But Rovers had other ideas and after sub Jermaine Easter equalised on 71 minutes, York’s hearts were broken by a Matty Taylor winner in the first minute of injury time.
