Jason Walker’s double earned York City victory on their opening day of the season at Ebbsfleet United.

Gary Mills welcomes back York City duo Patrick McLaughlin and Lanre Oyebanjo after international duty as his side’s league season gets underway with a visit to Ebbsfleet.

York’s only absentee for the visit to Kent was midfielder David McDermott.

The hosts were down to 10 men when Tony Phipp was sent off.

Callum Willock (80) scored for 10-man United, before a Jason Walker penalty levelled matters and then the former Luton Town player grabbed a York second.
