Sheffield United built on Saturday’s 2-1 win over Port Vale with a hard-earned point in a 0-0 draw at Peterborough United, showing an upturn in form ahead of the anticipated arrival of former Derby County manager Nigel Clough, who could be unveiled as the man replacing David Weir at Bramall Lane sometime on Wednesday.
