Notts Co 1 York City 0: Flinders backed to bounce back by Minstermen boss Wilcox
The former Barnsley and Hartlepool goalkeeper missed his kick to gift Izale McLeod a 12th-minute winner at Meadow Lane.
But, with more than 350 senior appearances behind him, the Rotherham-born, 29-year-old will not be affected by his costly mistake, according to Wilcox.

“He is an experienced player and will have made mistakes in his career before so he will bounce back. If you have a young ‘keeper, then these things can be a worry, but he will just be looking to the next game to put things right.”
York will need to perform better, however, at home to high-flying Oxford tomorrow night than they did in Nottingham.
During a one-sided first half, McLeod got on the scoresheet after Flinders charged out of his goal to deal with Liam Noble’s right-wing cross before making his error.

Mike Edwards also headed against a post after the restart, and late chances were spurned by substitutes David Tutonda and Anthony Straker.
