York City earned a deserved point on the road in League Two when they returned from in-form Wycombe with a point.

York should have taken the lead before David McGurk had given the visitors the lead, but Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram saved from Wes Fletcher.

McGurk evaded Kortney Hause at the back post from a Ryan Brobbel free-kick to net for York,

But the lead lasted just six minutes, as York still hunt for their first win since the first day of the season.

Dean Morgan reacted quickest to Matt McClure’s shot cannoning back off a post for a simple tap-in to earn a draw.

The draw saw Wycombe extend their unbeaten league run to five games, while York climbed out of the bottom two.
