York City 1 Mansfield Town 2: Cresswell sees red for Minstermen
It was a day of drama at Bootham Crescent as 10-man York City slipped further into trouble in League Two.
York’s Richard Cresswell and Mansfield’s Martin Riley both saw red after clashing in the 78th minute at Bootham Crescent where the Stags came back from behind to claim a 2-1 win.
Ryan Brobbel’s header had put the home side in front after just two minutes but Samuel Clucas equalised from the penalty spot before Oliver Palmer scored the winner shortly before the double sending-off.
